Ingredients

  • 2 lavash bread
  • 100 g sucuk (Diced; Turkish sausage.)
  • 1 red kapya pepper (Chopped.)
  • 3 green peppers (Chopped.)
  • 2 eggs (Cracked into a bowl and beaten.)
  • 9 slices kaşar cheese (Source specifies 8–10 slices; use some before the first lavash layer and the remaining slices after turning.)
  • neutral cooking oil (A little for sautéing, plus a little brushed on the lavash at each stage; amount not specified.)
  • salt (To taste; added to the beaten eggs.)

Steps

  1. 1

Chop the kapya pepper and green peppers. Dice the sucuk.

  2. 2

Heat a little cooking oil in a frying pan. Add the chopped peppers and sauté until softened.

  3. 3

Add the diced sucuk to the softened peppers. Stir and cook until the sucuk is cooked through.

  4. 4

Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt, and beat them.

  5. 5

Pour the beaten eggs evenly over the pepper and sucuk mixture. Cook until the egg has begun to set.

  6. 6

Place some of the kaşar slices over the egg mixture, then cover it with one lavash.

  7. 7

Brush a little cooking oil over the top of the lavash so it will brown when turned.

  8. 8

After 1–2 minutes, use a lid to help turn the pizza over.

  9. 9

Place the remaining kaşar slices on the turned side, cover them with the second lavash, and brush the top with a little oil.

  10. 10

When the underside of the lavash is browned, turn the pizza again and brown the other side. The source says it will brown in about 3–4 minutes.

  11. 11

Transfer to a serving plate, cut into slices, and serve hot.

Notes

The recipe does not specify the exact amount of cooking oil or salt. The 8–10 slices of cheese are divided between the two layers; the precise split is not given.
