Ingredients

  • 2 cup Shelled walnuts (Halved or in pieces; arrange in a single layer if possible.)
  • Salt (To taste; optional.)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 160 °C for 3 minutes. If your appliance does not have a preheat function, run it empty for that amount of time.

  2. 2

Place the walnuts in the basket in a single layer. Avoid overfilling it so the hot air can circulate and the walnuts toast evenly.

  3. 3

Cook the walnuts at 160 °C for 6 to 8 minutes. Shake the basket every 2 or 3 minutes to prevent them from burning; they should release a toasted aroma and appear slightly darker.

  4. 4

Immediately remove the walnuts from the basket and spread them on a plate or tray, as they will continue cooking from the residual heat.

  5. 5

Season with salt to taste, if desired. Let cool completely before serving or storing; they will become crispier as they cool.

Notes

The provided source does not include a written recipe or usable transcription; this preparation was reconstructed solely from the video title. The cooking time may vary depending on the power of the air fryer and the size of the walnuts. Watch them closely during the last few minutes because they can quickly go from toasted to burnt. Store the cooled walnuts in an airtight container.
