Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts (boneless and skinless)
- 115 g cream cheese (at room temperature)
- 1 taza fresh spinach (finely chopped)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 0.5 tsp paprika
- salt (to taste)
- black pepper (to taste)
- 6 rebanadas bacon
Steps
- 1
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the chopped spinach, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- 2
Place the chicken breasts on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, make a lengthwise cut along the side of each breast to create a pocket, being careful not to cut all the way through the other side.
- 3
Season the outside and inside of the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 4
Generously fill each chicken pocket with the prepared cream cheese and spinach mixture.
- 5
Wrap each stuffed chicken breast with 3 slices of bacon, making sure to cover most of the surface to seal in the filling. If necessary, use toothpicks to secure the bacon.
- 6
Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) for 3-5 minutes.
- 7
Place the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, making sure they do not touch so the air can circulate properly.
- 8
Cook at 190°C (375°F) for 18 to 20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 74°C (165°F).
- 9
Remove from the air fryer and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
You can substitute chopped broccoli or mushrooms for the spinach. If you do not have an air fryer, bake at 200°C for 25-30 minutes.
