  • vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).

  2. 2

In a large mixing bowl, mix the 500g of Greek yogurt with the brown sugar until combined.

  3. 3

Add the 2 eggs and a splash of vanilla extract to the yogurt mixture.

  4. 4

Stir in 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix until the batter is smooth and no lumps remain.

  5. 5

Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

  6. 6

Mix in 1 tablespoon of baking powder last, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

  7. 7

Pour the batter into a prepared baking dish and top with extra chocolate chips if desired.

  8. 8

    Bake at 190°C (375°F) for 30 minutes.

  9. 9

Remove from the oven and let the brownie cool for 10–15 minutes to allow it to set for the ultimate fudgy texture.

Notes

For better results, some users suggest adding a small amount of almond flour to help the structure set, as Greek yogurt-only brownies can be very soft. The nutrition provided by the author (600 kcal, 45g protein) is for the entire recipe.
