Ingredients
- 3 Chicken breasts (Sliced thinly)
- Garlic powder (For seasoning the chicken and cream mixture; a little of each)
- Onion powder (For seasoning the chicken and cream mixture; a little of each)
- Italian seasoning (For seasoning the chicken and cream mixture; a little of each)
- Smoked paprika (For seasoning the chicken and cream mixture; a little of each)
- Kinder's Buttery Garlic & Herb seasoning (A little, for seasoning the chicken and cream mixture)
- Tony Chachere's seasoning (A little, for seasoning the chicken and cream mixture)
- Olive oil (A drizzle)
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 can Cream of chicken soup (Condensed)
- 8 oz Colby Jack cheese
Steps
- 1
Slice the three chicken breasts thinly. Place them in a separate container and season with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, smoked paprika, Kinder's Buttery Garlic & Herb seasoning, and a little Tony Chachere's seasoning. Drizzle with olive oil and mix to coat.
- 2
In a bowl, combine the heavy cream and condensed cream of chicken soup. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
- 3
Season the cream mixture with a little of each of the same seasonings used on the chicken, taking care not to over-season, and mix to distribute.
- 4
Arrange all the seasoned chicken in a baking dish.
- 5
Spread the cream mixture evenly over the chicken.
- 6
Top with the Colby Jack cheese.
- 7
Bake at 425°F (220°C) for about 25 minutes, until the top starts to get crispy and the chicken is done. The creator noted the timing was approximate because they forgot to set a timer.
- 8
Serve over rice with green beans, as shown in the video.
Notes
The creator estimated the bake time at about 25 minutes and described the top becoming crispy as a cue; the exact timing was uncertain. Rice and green beans are mentioned as accompaniments, but no preparation instructions or amounts are provided.
