Ingredients

  • 1 lb 80/20 ground beef
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Fresh garlic (Minced; used with the beef)
  • Salt (To taste)
  • Black pepper (To taste)
  • 8 oz Mild cheddar cheese (Cut into large cubes; estimated as approximately one cube per biscuit)
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese (Use some in each bomb; quantity estimated)
  • 1 can Refrigerated biscuit dough (Pillsbury Original Flaky Layers, red-top can; estimated as 8 biscuits)
  • 1 Egg (Whisked for egg wash)
  • 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (Freshly grated; for topping before and after baking; quantity estimated)
  • 3 tbsp Salted butter (Melted, for garlic butter)
  • 2 cloves Fresh garlic (Finely minced, for garlic butter)
  • 1 tbsp Parsley (Dried or fresh; quantity estimated)
  • Caramelized onions (Optional add-in; amount not specified)
  • Bacon (Optional add-in; amount not specified)

Steps

  1. 1

Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon as it browns. Cook until no longer pink, about 6–8 minutes.

  2. 2

Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper to the browned beef. Stir for about 1 minute, until the garlic is fragrant and the seasoning is evenly distributed. Set the beef aside to cool slightly.

  3. 3

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. 4

Separate the biscuit dough into individual biscuits. Stretch each biscuit into a circle approximately 5 inches in diameter, taking care not to tear the dough.

  5. 5

Place about two spoonfuls of the seasoned beef in the center of one dough circle. Add some shredded mozzarella and one large cube of mild cheddar.

  6. 6

Fold the dough up and around the filling. Pinch the edges tightly closed, then gently pull and shape the filled dough into a tight ball so the filling is fully enclosed. Repeat with the remaining dough and filling.

  7. 7

Let the filled dough balls rest for 5 minutes so the dough can relax and the seams can remain sealed.

  8. 8

Arrange the bombs seam-side down on the parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between them. Brush a thin layer of whisked egg over each one, then sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan.

  9. 9

Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15–18 minutes, until the biscuit dough is deeply golden and cooked through.

  10. 10

While the bombs bake or immediately after they come out, combine the melted salted butter, finely minced garlic, and parsley to make the garlic butter.

  11. 11

Brush the hot cheeseburger bombs generously with the garlic butter and sprinkle with additional Parmesan. Serve immediately.

Notes

The amounts of minced garlic, cheddar, mozzarella, Parmesan, and parsley were not specified in the source; quantities for those ingredients are practical estimates. Optional caramelized onions or bacon can be added with the beef filling. Serve immediately for the best texture.
