Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup non fat plain greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop french vanilla whey protein (Transparent Labs brand recommended)
  • 1 tbsp raw honey
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • fresh strawberries (optional topping; sliced)
  • crushed walnuts (optional topping)
  • chocolate drizzle (optional topping)

Steps

  1. 1

In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1.5 cups of non-fat plain Greek yogurt, 1 scoop of French vanilla whey protein, 1 tablespoon of raw honey, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

  2. 2

Mix the ingredients thoroughly until the protein powder is fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.

  3. 3

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  4. 4

Pour the yogurt mixture onto the parchment paper and spread it evenly, ensuring it remains thick enough to form solid bars once frozen.

  5. 5

Add your favorite toppings to the surface of the yogurt. Suggested toppings include sliced fresh strawberries, crushed walnuts, and a chocolate drizzle.

  6. 6

Place the baking sheet in the freezer for a minimum of 1.5 hours, or until the mixture is firm and frozen solid.

  7. 7

Once frozen, break or cut the sheet into 4 bars and enjoy immediately.

Notes

The author notes that the provided macros (207 cals, 34g protein) do not include the optional toppings. For best texture, do not freeze for significantly longer than 2 hours or the bars may become too icy to bite comfortably.
