Ingredients
- 16 oz sour cream (one container)
- 1 oz taco seasoning (one standard packet)
- 1 oz ranch seasoning mix (one standard packet)
- 2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
- 2 tomatoes (diced, or one can of Rotel-style diced tomatoes with green chilies)
- tortilla chips (for serving)
Steps
- 1
In a medium mixing bowl, add the sour cream.
- 2
Add the taco seasoning and ranch seasoning mix to the sour cream.
- 3
Stir the seasonings into the sour cream until fully combined and smooth.
- 4
Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and the diced tomatoes.
- 5
Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the dip.
- 6
Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
For the best flavor, let the dip chill in the refrigerator for at least an hour before serving to allow the seasonings to meld. You can use a can of Rotel (drained) instead of fresh tomatoes for a bit of extra kick.
