Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 170 g before cooking, which is about 170 g per serving.
Steps
Place two cinnamon rolls between sheets of parchment paper and flatten them into thin discs.
Heat a plancha or flat-top griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil.
Place the flattened cinnamon rolls onto the hot surface and sear until golden brown.
Carefully peel the parchment paper off the top of the cinnamon rolls while they sear.
Flip the cinnamon rolls to ensure both sides are toasted and cooked through.
On a separate part of the griddle, fry an egg sunny-side up until the whites are set but the yolk remains runny.
Assemble the sandwich by placing the sunny-side up egg between the two seared cinnamon roll discs.
Notes
The video shows the creator struggling slightly to peel the parchment; ensure the rolls are chilled or the surface is hot enough to help the dough release. You can add bacon or cheese to further enhance the sweet and savory profile.
