Ingredients

  • 1 Croissant (large, store-bought or fresh)
  • 0.25 cup Chocolate chip cookie dough (pre-made or homemade)
  • 0.5 oz Milk chocolate bar (such as Hershey's, broken into pieces)
  • 0.125 cup Mini marshmallows
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

Using a serrated knife, slice the croissant horizontally through the middle, but do not cut all the way through, leaving it attached at the back like a sandwich.

  3. 3

Open the croissant and spread a layer of chocolate chip cookie dough inside.

  4. 4

Place pieces of the milk chocolate bar and a handful of mini marshmallows over the cookie dough inside the croissant.

  5. 5

Close the croissant and top it with additional small pieces of cookie dough, chocolate, and marshmallows.

  6. 6

Place the assembled croissant on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  7. 7

Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookie dough is cooked through and the marshmallows are golden brown and toasted.

  8. 8

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

This recipe is a variation of the 'Le Crookie' trend, modified with s'mores ingredients. For best results, use day-old croissants as they hold up better to the weight of the dough.
