Steps
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350 °F) (350°F (180 °C)). Prepare an ovenproof baking dish as needed.
Add the rolled oats, oat flour, mashed bananas, cacao or cocoa powder, baking powder, milk, and any optional chocolate chips to the prepared ovenproof dish, keeping the peanut butter and topping chocolate chips aside.
Mix the ingredients thoroughly until evenly combined, then spread the mixture evenly in the dish.
Add dollops of peanut butter over the surface and swirl them through the mixture with a knife.
Sprinkle additional chocolate chips over the top if desired.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the bake comes out clean.
Notes
The author recommends making this on Sunday for breakfast or snacks during the week. Peanut butter can be omitted for a kids' lunchbox snack. Quantities for the optional chocolate chips and peanut butter topping were not specified.
