Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 700 g before cooking, which is about 175 g per serving.
Steps
Prepare the dumpling filling by mixing the ground pork with freshly grated ginger and any desired seasonings.
Take a small portion of the pork mixture and smash it evenly onto one side of a tortilla, spreading it to the edges.
Place the tortilla pork-side down into a hot pan or skillet.
Pan-fry until the pork is fully cooked, juicy, and the edges are crispy and golden.
Flip the taco briefly to warm the other side of the tortilla if desired.
Top the tacos with fresh, crunchy vegetables.
Serve immediately with a side of dipping sauce.
Notes
This recipe is a quick alternative to traditional dumplings, eliminating the need for folding wrappers. Ensure the pork is spread thinly so it cooks through quickly while the tortilla crisps.
