Ingredients
- 1 bowl Cooked rice (approx. 1 serving)
- 150 g Firm tofu (momen tofu)
- 1 tbsp Potato starch (katakuriko)
- 8 g Butter
- 1 Egg yolk
- Green onion (a small amount, chopped)
- Roasted sesame seeds (a small amount)
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 0.5 tsp Garlic paste (from a tube)
- 2 tsp Water

Place the tofu in the microwave and heat to drain excess water. Once drained, cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.

Lightly coat the tofu pieces with potato starch.

Heat the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the tofu and fry until the exterior is crispy and golden brown.

Add the soy sauce, mirin, sugar, garlic paste, and water to the pan. Toss and stir until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu evenly.

Place the cooked rice in a bowl and top with the glazed tofu. Garnish with chopped green onions, roasted sesame seeds, and place the egg yolk in the center to finish.
