Ingredients

  • 300 g prawns (peeled and deveined)
  • garlic powder (for marinating)
  • chili powder (or paprika, for marinating)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 box cooking cream (approximately 200-250ml)
  • chili flakes (to taste)
  • salt (to taste)
  • seasoning powder (to taste (e.g., chicken stock powder))
  • fresh herbs (rosemary or coriander, for garnish)
  • lemon juice (freshly squeezed, for finishing)

Steps

  1. 1

Prepare the prawns by removing the shells and deveining them.

  2. 2

In a bowl, marinate the prawns with a bit of garlic powder and chili powder (or paprika). Mix until evenly coated and set aside for a few minutes.

  3. 3

Heat a pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Allow the butter to melt.

  4. 4

Add the marinated prawns to the pan and stir-fry them briefly until they begin to change color.

  5. 5

Pour in one box of cooking cream.

  6. 6

Sprinkle in some chili flakes to add heat to the sauce and continue to cook.

  7. 7

Season the sauce with salt and seasoning powder to taste.

  8. 8

Continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.

  9. 9

Garnish with fresh herbs like rosemary or coriander and finish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
