Ingredients
- 100 g Sugar-free dark chocolate (Melted; 100% dark chocolate may be used instead. If using unsweetened chocolate, sweeten to taste.)
- 100 g Hazelnut butter (Homemade or store-bought; another nut butter may be substituted.)
- Powdered sweetener (Optional, to taste, if using unsweetened or 100% dark chocolate. Monk fruit, stevia, or another powdered sweetener may be used.)
- 20 g Toasted hazelnuts (Optional; chopped or roughly crushed for extra crunch.)
- Flaky salt (Optional, for sprinkling on top.)
Steps
- 1
Melt the sugar-free dark chocolate gently until smooth. If using a 100% dark chocolate bar instead, melt it in the same way and set it aside briefly so it is warm but not scorching hot.
- 2
Add the hazelnut butter to the melted chocolate. Whisk until the mixture is completely smooth, glossy, and evenly combined.
- 3
If using unsweetened chocolate, add monk fruit, stevia, or powdered sweetener to taste. Stir thoroughly and adjust the sweetness before molding.
- 4
Fold in the optional toasted hazelnuts if you want extra crunch.
- 5
Spoon or pour the chocolate mixture into a chocolate-shaped silicone mold. Tap the mold gently on the counter to level the mixture and release large air bubbles.
- 6
Sprinkle the top with optional flaky salt and additional toasted hazelnuts, if desired.
- 7
Transfer the filled mold to the freezer and chill for 1 hour, or until the fudge is firm enough to remove cleanly from the mold.
- 8
Unmold the fudge and serve chilled or slightly softened at room temperature.
Notes
The creator describes the chocolate and hazelnut butter as the only two ingredients in the fudge itself. Optional sweetener is needed only if the chocolate is unsweetened and should be adjusted to taste. Store the finished fudge refrigerated or frozen in an airtight container; allow frozen pieces to soften briefly before serving.
