Ingredients

  • 1 cup Mayonnaise (The author suggests avocado oil mayo for a healthier option)
  • 0.25 cup Sour cream
  • 0.25 cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp Dried parsley (Can use fresh if available)
  • 2 tsp Dried dill
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 tsp Smoked paprika (Must be smoked paprika)
  • 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
  • Salt (A good old pinch)

Steps

  1. 1

In a mason jar or medium mixing bowl, add 1 cup of mayonnaise.

  2. 2

Add 1/4 cup of sour cream to the mayonnaise.

  3. 3

Pour in 1/4 cup of buttermilk.

  4. 4

Add 1 tablespoon of parsley and 2 teaspoons of dried dill.

  5. 5

Season with 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder.

  6. 6

Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder.

  7. 7

Add 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika and 1 teaspoon of cayenne pepper.

  8. 8

Add a pinch of salt to the mixture.

  9. 9

Close the jar and shake vigorously, or use a spoon to stir until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and the sauce is a uniform color.

  10. 10

Place the sauce in the refrigerator to chill for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld together.

Notes

The creators recommend letting the sauce sit for at least an hour for the flavors to 'get with each other' and accumulate properly. If you want a larger batch, simply double all ingredients.
