Ingredients
- 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
- 1.25 tsp Instant yeast
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Granulated sugar
- 0.75 cup Warm water
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- Ice (A few pieces; amount not specified.)
Steps
- 1
Combine the flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Add the warm water and olive oil, then stir until combined. The dough will be very sticky.
- 2
Let the dough rise for 1 hour. Turn it out onto a lightly floured surface.
- 3
Shape the dough into a round loaf by gently pulling its edges up and toward the middle. Turn it over so the smooth side is on top.
- 4
Cut 2–3 slices across the top of the dough. Set it on parchment paper sized to fit a 6–8-inch round pan.
- 5
Place the parchment and dough in the pan. Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
- 6
Preheat the air fryer at 400° for 10 minutes.
- 7
Place the pan with the dough in the air fryer. Add a few pieces of ice beside the pan, inside the air fryer basket.
- 8
Return the basket to the air fryer and bake at 400° until golden brown, about 20–25 minutes. Flip the bread over and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.
- 9
Remove the bread and serve.
Notes
The source specifies 1 serving (one loaf). It does not give a quantity for the ice. The body excerpt includes differing water and baking guidance; the structured recipe data is followed here. A 6–8-inch round pan and parchment paper are specified in the method but are not ingredients.
