Ingredients
- 8 oz Feta cheese (crumbled)
- 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (plain, full-fat preferred)
- 1 Garlic (clove, minced)
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil (plus more for drizzling)
- 2 tbsp Honey (for drizzling)
- Fresh thyme or oregano (for garnish)
- Black pepper (to taste)
Steps
- 1
Place the crumbled feta cheese, Greek yogurt, minced garlic, and lemon juice into a food processor or high-speed blender.
- 2
Pulse the mixture several times to break down the feta chunks.
- 3
With the motor running on low, slowly stream in the extra virgin olive oil.
- 4
Increase the speed to high and blend for 1-2 minutes until the mixture is completely smooth, light, and airy.
- 5
Transfer the whipped feta to a shallow serving bowl or plate.
- 6
Use the back of a spoon to create a well or swirls in the center of the dip.
- 7
Generously drizzle the honey over the top, followed by a light drizzle of olive oil.
- 8
Garnish with fresh thyme leaves or oregano and a crack of fresh black pepper.
Notes
Serve immediately with warm pita bread, cucumber slices, or crackers. If making ahead, store in the refrigerator but bring to room temperature for 20 minutes before serving to soften the olive oil.
