Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets (5–6 oz / 140–170 g each; skin removed or skin-on. Cut into bite-sized pieces for salmon bites, if desired.)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp butter (Melted.)
  • 3 cloves garlic (Minced.)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning (Use either dried oregano or Italian seasoning.)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley or dill (Chopped; use either parsley or dill.)

Steps

  1. 1

Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes. Pat the salmon dry. Leave the fillets whole, or cut them into evenly sized bite-sized pieces for salmon bites.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, paprika, garlic powder, and dried oregano or Italian seasoning. Stir until evenly blended.

  3. 3

Add the salmon to a bowl and pour the garlic-butter mixture over it. Turn gently until every piece is coated. If using whole fillets, brush the mixture over the top and sides.

  4. 4

Arrange the salmon in a single layer in the air-fryer basket, leaving space around each piece for the hot air to circulate. Work in batches if necessary.

  5. 5

Air-fry salmon bites at 400°F (200°C) for 7–10 minutes, shaking or turning them halfway through, until browned on the edges and flaky in the center. Whole fillets may require about 10–12 minutes, depending on thickness.

  6. 6

Check that the thickest part reaches 145°F (63°C), then transfer the salmon to a serving plate. Sprinkle with the chopped fresh parsley or dill and serve immediately.

Notes

The source provides the ingredient list but does not include the full cooking directions; air-fryer temperature and timing are practical estimates. Avoid overcrowding the basket, and begin checking early because salmon pieces vary in size.
