Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 1.37 kg before cooking, which is about 55 g per serving.
Steps
Line an 11 × 7-inch pan with parchment paper.
Put the butter, sugar, and evaporated milk in a saucepan. Heat over medium-high heat, stirring continuously and scraping along the bottom of the pan to prevent scorching.
When the mixture starts boiling, begin monitoring its temperature. Continue heating until it reaches 234°F (112 °C) (the transcript notes it was about 212°F (100 °C) when bubbling began).
As soon as the mixture reaches 234°F (112 °C), remove the pan from the heat.
Add the entire jar of marshmallow crème, the semi-sweet chocolate chips, and vanilla. Mix them in until combined. If using nuts or other mix-ins, add them at this point; the source gives no quantities for optional mix-ins.
Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan.
Leave it to set at room temperature for 3 hours.
Cut the set fudge into pieces.
Notes
The creator describes this as classic chocolate fudge and says nuts or other mix-ins can be added, but provides no quantities for them. Temperature is stated in the transcript as 234 degrees; interpreted as °F given the spoken 212-degree boiling reading.
