Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 170 g before cooking, which is about 85 g per serving.
Steps
Prepare the base by spreading cream cheese onto the bread slices or layering with a slice of cheese.
To create the tulips, take a slice of salami or prosciutto and fold it into a ruffled, petal-like shape.
Place the folded meat 'tulips' at the top of the bread slices.
Arrange fresh chives starting from the base of the meat flowers down to the bottom of the bread to act as stems.
Add parsley leaves or small pieces of chive to the stems to complete the floral look.
Notes
This is an assembly-style recipe focused on visual presentation. You can use any circular cured meat to achieve the tulip effect.
