Ingredients
- 1 cup avocado oil (heated to 250°F)
- 0.5 cup red chili flakes
- 2 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp salt
- 0.5 cup Greek yogurt (plain)
- 1 packet ranch seasoning (standard 1 oz packet)
- 0.33 cup honey
Steps
- 1
In a small pot, heat 1 cup of avocado oil until it reaches 250°F (120°C).
- 2
In a separate heat-proof pot or bowl, combine 1/2 cup red chili flakes, 2 tablespoons minced garlic, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, and 2 tablespoons salt.
- 3
Carefully pour the hot avocado oil over the chili flake mixture. It should sizzle immediately. Stir to combine and let the mixture cool down completely.
- 4
Once the chili oil mixture is cool, add 1/2 cup Greek yogurt.
- 5
Add one whole packet of ranch seasoning to the mixture.
- 6
Add 1/3 cup of honey.
- 7
Whisk or stir all ingredients together until the sauce is creamy and the color is uniform.
Notes
The creator notes that despite the large amount of chili flakes, the sauce is more flavorful than spicy once mixed with the yogurt and honey. It is recommended as a topping for pizza, wings, or tortillas.
