Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 1.03 kg before cooking, which is about 115 g per serving.
Steps
Drain and rinse the can of black beans.
Put the rinsed beans in a blender. Add the melted butter, vanilla extract, eggs, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Blend the ingredients until they form a batter.
Grease an 8 × 8-inch pan. Pour in the batter and spread it evenly.
If desired, add nuts to half of the batter. The creator also suggests chocolate chips or leaving the brownies plain.
Bake in a 350°F (180 °C) (175°C (350 °F)) oven for 25–30 minutes.
Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them. The creator notes that theirs had not cooled long enough when they tried them.
Notes
The transcript’s sugar quantity is garbled (“3 1 3 1 cup sugar”); 1 1/3 cups is a cautious interpretation. Can size and topping quantities are not stated. The source does not specify how to grease the pan.
