Steps
Cook the bacon in a large skillet until the fat has rendered and the bacon is crisp. Remove the bacon, reserving it for later, and leave some of the rendered bacon grease in the skillet.
While the bacon cooks, cut the three large chicken breasts into pieces. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and garlic.
Bring a pot of heavily salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, then drain it.
Cook the seasoned chicken in the reserved bacon grease until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet.
Add the heavy cream and milk to the skillet to begin the cheese sauce.
Add the cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, smoked paprika, and ranch seasoning. Stir until the cream cheese is incorporated and the sauce is creamy.
Stir in the Dean's Ranch dressing, which the creator uses in place of sour cream.
Add the shredded Colby Jack cheese. The creator recommends shredding the cheese yourself because it melts more easily. Stir until melted into the sauce.
Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and bacon to the sauce. Stir everything together until evenly coated, then serve.
