Ingredients
- 1 package Trader Joe’s Angus Chuck, Brisket & Sirloin Beef Patties (contains 4 patties)
- 4 Pretzel buns
- 4 tbsp Garlic aioli (or garlic mayo)
- 4 oz Brie cheese (sliced)
- 1 cup Arugula
- 1.5 cup Frozen blueberries
- 0.25 cup Sugar
- 0.5 lemon Lemon juice (juiced)
- 0.25 cup Balsamic vinegar
Steps
- 1
Add the blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and balsamic vinegar to a small saucepan.
- 2
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- 3
Simmer for 15–20 minutes, until the mixture has thickened into a jam-like consistency.
- 4
Remove the jam from the heat and let it cool for 5–10 minutes.
- 5
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- 6
Place the burger patties on the grill and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- 7
During the final 1–2 minutes of cooking, top each patty with sliced Brie. Close the grill lid and allow the cheese to melt.
- 8
Spread a thin layer of garlic aioli on the cut sides of the pretzel buns.
- 9
Place the buns cut-side down on the grill for 1–2 minutes, or until lightly toasted.
- 10
Assemble each burger by spreading more garlic aioli on the buns, adding a Brie-topped burger patty, a generous spoonful of balsamic blueberry jam, and a handful of arugula. Add the top bun and serve immediately.
Notes
If you dislike or cannot have blueberries, this recipe also works well with cranberries. For an extra savory kick, consider adding crispy bacon to the assembly.
