- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 0.25 cup onion (Chopped.)

- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese (Grated.)
- 1 limón lemon juice (Juice of one whole lemon.)
- 0.5 limón lemon zest (Zest of half a lemon.)
- salt (To season the shrimp, to taste.)
- paprika (To season the shrimp, to taste.)
- garlic powder (To season the shrimp, to taste.)
- 0.25 tsp salt (For the sauce.)
- black pepper (A pinch, for the sauce.)
- fresh parsley (Chopped, for garnish.)
Steps
- 1
Cook the low-carb pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- 3
Season the shrimp with salt, paprika, and garlic powder, distributing the seasonings over both sides.
- 4
Heat a large skillet over medium heat and melt the unsalted butter.
- 5
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 1–2 minutes per side, until pink, opaque, and fully cooked.
- 6
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Keep the butter and any juices left in the skillet.
- 7
Add the chopped onion to the same skillet and sauté until it begins to soften.
- 8
Add the chopped garlic and cook until fragrant, without letting it burn.
- 9
Pour the heavy cream into the skillet.
- 10
Add the lemon juice and zest. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
- 11
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
- 12
Season the sauce with 1/4 tsp salt and a pinch of black pepper.
- 13
Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet.
- 14
Add the drained pasta and gently toss until completely coated with the sauce.
- 15
Serve immediately and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
Notes
The original recipe does not specify quantities for the salt, paprika, garlic powder, or parsley; adjust them to taste. Cook the shrimp only until opaque to prevent them from drying out.
