Ingredients

  • 1 rebanada Sourdough bread (thick slice)
  • 0.25 cup Greek yogurt (plain and unsweetened)
  • 0.5 scoop Protein powder (your favorite flavor, preferably vanilla or caramel)
  • 1 Ripe banana (sliced)
  • Cinnamon (to taste for sprinkling)
  • 1 tbsp Cashew Caramel Spread (for drizzling)
  • Salt (a pinch)

Steps

  1. 1

In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt with your favorite protein powder until smooth and well combined.

  2. 2

Spread the yogurt and protein mixture evenly over the sourdough bread slice.

  3. 3

Place the ripe banana slices on top of the yogurt layer.

  4. 4

Sprinkle a bit of cinnamon over the bananas.

  5. 5

Place the toast in the air fryer and cook for 10 to 12 minutes (approximately at 180°C / 350°F) or until the bananas are golden brown, caramelized, and slightly crispy.

  6. 6

Remove from the air fryer and finish with a drizzle of cashew caramel spread and a pinch of salt.

Notes

If you don't have cashew caramel spread, you can use almond or peanut butter with a touch of honey or maple syrup. The standard temperature for this type of air fryer recipe is usually 180°C (350°F).
