Ingredients

  • 2 Beefsteak tomatoes (washed and thinly sliced)
  • 200 g Strawberries (washed, hulled, and thinly sliced)
  • 2 Passion fruits
  • 10 g Fresh basil
  • 0.5 Lemon (juiced)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 10 g Sesame seeds
  • 2 Burrata
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

Steps

  1. 1

Thoroughly wash the beefsteak tomatoes and slice them thinly with a sharp knife.

  2. 2

Wash the strawberries, remove the green hulls, and also cut the fruit into thin slices.

  3. 3

Arrange the tomato and strawberry slices decoratively on plates or a large platter.

  4. 4

Halve the passion fruits and scoop the pulp and seeds over the salad.

  5. 5

Drizzle the juice of the half lemon and the olive oil evenly over the salad.

  6. 6

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. 7

Place the burrata balls in the center or on top of the salad and tear them slightly so the creamy core can flow out.

  8. 8

Garnish with fresh basil and sprinkle the sesame seeds on top as a finish.

Notes

The combination of passion fruit and strawberries gives this salad an exceptional sweet-acid balance that pairs perfectly with the creamy center of the burrata.
