Ingredients
- 2 mangoes (fresh mangoes or 2 cups of frozen mango)
- 1 banana (small frozen banana (or half of a large banana); can use unfrozen if using frozen mango)
- 0.5 cup milk (dairy or dairy-free)
- 0.5 cup yogurt (dairy or dairy-free)
Steps
- 1
Add the mangoes, banana, milk, and yogurt to a high-powered blender.
- 2
Blend until the mixture is completely creamy and smooth. If using frozen mango, you may need to use a tamper to push down the mixture to ensure it is evenly blended.
- 3
Pour the smoothie into a jar or glass and serve immediately with a straw.
Notes
If the smoothie is too thick (common when using all frozen fruit), add an extra splash of milk. For a tropical twist, coconut milk and coconut yogurt work very well. You can also add a scoop of protein powder if desired.
