Ingredients

  • 0.5 avocado (Mashed; approximately 75 g of flesh)
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese for spreading or mayonnaise (Choose one of the two options)
  • mustard (A drop, according to the publication; adjust to taste)
  • 1 lata canned tuna (Drained; approximately 100 g drained weight)
  • red onion (Chopped; use to taste, approximately 30 g)
  • salt (To taste)
  • black pepper (To taste)
  • lemon juice (A splash, approximately 1 tsp)
  • 1 flour tortilla for wrapping (Approximately 60 g)
  • extra-virgin olive oil (A little for cooking in the skillet; amount unspecified)

Steps

  1. 1

Place the avocado, drained tuna, chopped red onion, cream cheese or mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  2. 2

Mash and mix all the ingredients with a fork until you have a smooth, creamy filling. Taste and adjust the salt, pepper, mustard, or lemon if necessary.

  3. 3

Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat it with a little extra-virgin olive oil. Place the tortilla in the skillet and heat it on both sides, approximately 30–60 seconds per side, until warm and lightly golden.

  4. 4

Remove the tortilla from the skillet and place the filling in the center, leaving space around the edges.

  5. 5

Fold the sides of the tortilla toward the center, then carefully roll it up to form the wrap, making sure the filling does not spill out. Serve immediately.

Notes

The publication indicates that either spreadable cream cheese or mayonnaise may be used. The amount of onion, mustard, lemon, salt, and pepper is to taste. The tuna should be drained before mixing. If desired, the assembled wrap can be briefly browned in the skillet to make it crispier.
