Ingredients
- 226 g Dry cottage cheese or farmer cheese
- 32 g Natural peanut butter
- 42 g Honey or maple syrup (Choose one of the two options.)
- 1 scoop Whey protein powder (The recipe calls for 1 scoop, without specifying its weight.)
- 35 g Rolled oats (Added to thicken the mousse.)
- 40 g Dark chocolate (Optional, for the topping.)
- 5 g Coconut oil (Optional, for the topping.)
Steps
- 1
Place the cottage cheese, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, whey protein, and rolled oats in a food processor or blender. Blend until completely smooth.
- 2
Let the mixture rest for 2 to 3 minutes so the oats can absorb the liquid and the mousse can thicken.
- 3
Divide the mousse between two bowls or jars.
- 4
If making the topping, melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together in the microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
- 5
Pour the melted chocolate evenly over the mousse. Refrigerate until the topping hardens; alternatively, freeze for 10 to 15 minutes.
