Lazy Sunday Pasta Version 2 (Orzo with Herb Cream Cheese)
A low-effort, one-pan baked orzo pasta perfect for lazy Sundays. The oven does most of the work, resulting in a creamy, flavorful meal with sun-dried tomatoes and fresh spinach.

Ingredients
- 150 g Herb cream cheese (herb cream cheese)
- 300 g Orzo
- 100 g Sun-dried tomatoes (sun-dried tomatoes)
- 2 Garlic (cloves, minced)
- 1 tbsp Italian herb mix (SterkInDeKeuken Italian Herb Mix)
- 0.5 tsp Hot & Spicy herb mix (SterkInDeKeuken Hot & Spicy Herb Mix)
- 600 ml Vegetable broth (broth)
- 200 g Fresh spinach (spinach)
- 50 g Parmesan cheese (grated)

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).

Place the herb cream cheese in the center of a large baking dish.

Add the orzo, sun-dried tomatoes, and minced garlic to the dish around the cream cheese.

Sprinkle the Italian herb mix and the Hot & Spicy herb mix over the ingredients.

Pour the vegetable broth into the baking dish.

Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Place in the oven and bake for approximately 25 minutes.

Remove the foil and stir in the fresh spinach and grated Parmesan cheese.

Return to the oven for the final 5 minutes until the spinach has wilted and the cheese is melted.

Stir everything well to create a creamy sauce before serving.
Notes
The quantities for the broth and orzo are estimated based on standard one-pan orzo ratios (approx 2:1 liquid to pasta). The author uses their own brand of spice mixes, but standard Italian seasoning and chili flakes can be substituted.
