Ingredients
- 4 Flour tortillas (cut in half)
- 100 g Pepperoni (chopped or thinly sliced)
- 150 g Mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- Oregano (to taste)
- 2 tbsp Wheat flour (for the homemade glue)
- 1 tbsp Water (as needed to form a paste with the flour)
- 1 tbsp Olive oil (for brushing)
- Garlic powder (to taste)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- 2
Cut the flour tortillas in half.
- 3
In a bowl, mix the chopped pepperoni with the shredded mozzarella and oregano until well combined.
- 4
Prepare the 'glue' by mixing the flour with a little water in a small container until a thick paste forms.
- 5
Fold each tortilla half into a cone shape, applying a bit of the flour and water mixture to the edge to seal the seam and pressing firmly.
- 6
Generously fill each cone with the cheese and pepperoni mixture, leaving a small space at the top.
- 7
Apply more flour glue to the top edge and close the mini pizza by pressing with a fork to ensure a secure seal.
- 8
Place the mini pizzas on a baking sheet.
- 9
Brush the surface with olive oil and sprinkle a bit of garlic powder on top.
- 10
Bake at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the tortillas are golden and crispy.
- 11
Serve hot accompanied by your favorite sauce.
Notes
You can use any type of cheese that melts well. The flour and water 'glue' is essential so they don't open in the oven.
