Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 200 g before cooking, which is about 200 g per serving.

Steps

  1. Prepare the sausage by making a quirky central scissor snip and slicing it into petal-like strips, while keeping the pieces connected at the center.

  2. Heat a pan until hot, then place the prepared sausage in it and splay the strips outward so they form a sunflower-like shape.

  3. Cook the sausage in the hot pan until it begins to brown and the petal shape holds together.

  4. Add the eggs around and over the sausage so they bind the sausage petals together into an omelette. Cook until the eggs are set and golden and the omelette is fluffy.

  5. Flip the omelette carefully once the eggs have set, then cook briefly on the other side until done.

  6. Garnish with fresh green onions and chili, then serve immediately.

Notes

The source says the omelette takes less than 10 minutes. The egg quantity is estimated because no written measurements are provided. Use care when making the central snip and flipping the omelette.
