Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 155 g before cooking, which is about 40 g per serving.
Steps
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low to medium-low heat. Keep the heat gentle so the butter melts without browning or separating excessively.
Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, black pepper, paprika, cayenne pepper, and Dijon mustard to the melted butter.
Stir the mixture until the mustard is incorporated and the garlic is fragrant, about 2 to 3 minutes. Do not let the garlic brown.
Add the chili flakes, thyme, chopped chives, and fresh parsley.
Stir once more and warm briefly, about 30 seconds, until the herbs are distributed throughout the butter. Serve warm over rested steak or use as a dipping sauce.
Notes
The creator presents this as a sauce for steak. Prepare it while the steaks rest so it can be served warm. Adjust salt, pepper, and chili heat to taste.
