For a recipe app, that price gap deserves more than a shrug. Keep the money and make the app do the work.

A social-import button is not a $40 advantage
Osta advertises Instagram, TikTok and website imports. SeeMeCook supports those sources too. It also accepts supported YouTube videos, direct video uploads, cookbook pages and handwritten recipe cards.
Send a supported video through the share sheet or paste its link into Import Recipe. The saved result has ingredients and numbered instructions, with source credit and identified estimates where the original left out quantities. You can edit it before cooking.

At the stove, Cooking Mode keeps the current step large and can read it aloud. The ingredients for that step stay close. Scale servings on the recipe page and translate with Pro when the recipe is in another language.
