Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana (Peeled; approximately 118 g of flesh)
- 30 g vanilla protein powder
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (Approximately 32 g)
- 50 g chocolate chips
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the cookies from sticking.
- 2
Peel the banana and mash it in a bowl with a fork until fairly smooth, with no large pieces.
- 3
Add the vanilla protein powder to the mashed banana and mix until well incorporated.
- 4
Add the peanut butter and stir until a thick, homogeneous dough forms.
- 5
Add the chocolate chips and gently mix them in to distribute them throughout the dough.
- 6
Divide the dough into approximately four portions on the prepared baking sheet. Shape them into cookies and space them slightly apart, as they will be soft and will not spread much.
- 7
Bake for 10 minutes at 180 °C, until the cookies are set and lightly golden around the edges.
- 8
Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the cookies rest for a few minutes before serving so they can set.
Notes
The publication does not indicate the exact yield; the mixture is estimated to produce about 4 cookies. Nutritional values are approximate and depend on the brand of protein powder, peanut butter and chocolate.
