Weights are estimates. Together, the ingredients weigh about 360 g before cooking, which is about 180 g per serving.
Steps
Cut the chicken thighs into pieces and toss them with one cup of flour. Set aside.
Make the sauce by mixing the soy sauce, one cup of water, a little honey, and a little chili oil. Set aside.
Heat a little oil in a skillet. Add the flour-coated chicken and brown it well, then remove it from the skillet.
Add a little more oil to the same skillet. Add the onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper, and stir-fry until cooked.
Return the chicken to the skillet. Add the prepared sauce and a generous handful of almonds.
Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has reduced.
Serve the chicken with rice and pack it into a takeout container.
Notes
The written description mentions lemon zest in the sauce; the transcribed audio mentions honey instead. Both have been included, but the source does not clarify whether they are used together or whether one replaces the other. Quantities are not provided for most ingredients, nor are the method or cooking time for the rice.
