- Salt (To taste; for the avocado and tuna dip)
- Black pepper (To taste; for the avocado and tuna dip)
- 1 lata Tuna fillets in olive oil (Drained; added after processing the mixture. Ideally La Soberana)
- 1 cup Greek yogurt (For the red bell pepper and tuna dip)
- 2 tbsp Cream cheese (For the red bell pepper and tuna dip)
- 0.5 cup Red bell pepper (Chopped; for the red bell pepper and tuna dip)
- 1 tbsp Paprika (The text indicates “1 tbsp”)
- 1 lata Tuna fillets in olive oil (Drained; ideally La Soberana. For the red bell pepper and tuna dip)
- Arepas (For serving; the author prepares them with Arepa Arepa flour. Quantity not specified)
Steps
- 1
For the corn and tuna dip, place the Greek yogurt, chopped red onion, sweet corn, cilantro, lime juice, drained tuna, mayonnaise, and tomato sauce in a blender or food processor.
- 2
Process until creamy, but you can leave some pieces of corn and onion for texture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 3
For the avocado and tuna dip, place the avocado, mayonnaise, and cilantro in the food processor. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 4
Process until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- 5
Add the drained tuna to the avocado mixture and process briefly or stir it in by hand, depending on whether you prefer a completely smooth texture or pieces of tuna.
- 6
For the red bell pepper and tuna dip, place the Greek yogurt, cream cheese, chopped red bell pepper, paprika, and drained tuna in the food processor.
- 7
Process until you have a smooth and creamy dip. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
- 8
Serve the three dips chilled or slightly brought to room temperature, accompanied by arepas prepared with Arepa Arepa flour.
Notes
Keep the dips refrigerated until ready to serve. The original text does not specify the weight of the tuna cans or the amount of salt, pepper, or arepas; an approximately 120 g drained can was estimated. To prevent the avocado dip from browning, cover it directly with plastic wrap and refrigerate it.
