Ingredients

  • 200 g Mafaldine
  • 200 g Mince (finely crumbled with a fork)
  • 3 Spring onions
  • 10 g Sesame seeds
  • 0.25 Orange
  • 1 EL Vegan oyster sauce
  • 4 EL Rapeseed oil
  • 3 EL Dark soy sauce
  • 3 TL Chili flakes
  • 2 EL Soy sauce
  • 3 Zehe(n) Garlic

Steps

  1. 1

Prepare all ingredients and set them aside.

  2. 2

Cook the mafaldine pasta in plenty of salted water according to the package instructions.

  3. 3

While the noodles are cooking, finely crumble the plain tofu in a bowl with a fork until it reaches a mince-like consistency.

  4. 4

Finely chop the garlic and slice the spring onions into rings. Squeeze the orange.

  5. 5

Heat rapeseed oil in a pan and sear the mince over high heat.

  6. 6

Briefly sauté the garlic, chili flakes, and the white parts of the spring onions.

  7. 7

Deglaze with soy sauce (light and dark), oyster sauce, and the juice from the quarter orange.

  8. 8

Add the cooked noodles directly from the pot to the pan and mix well until the sauce coats the noodles evenly.

  9. 9

Serve garnished with sesame seeds and the green parts of the spring onions.

Notes

For a more intense flavor, the sesame seeds can be briefly toasted in the pan without fat beforehand.
