Ingredients

  • 1.5 cup powdered peanut butter (divided (1 cup + 1/2 cup))
  • 0.75 cup unsweetened applesauce (divided (1/2 cup + 1/4 cup))
  • 0.5 cup chocolate (melted, for coating)

Steps

  1. 1

In a medium bowl, combine 1.5 cups of powdered peanut butter with 0.75 cups of unsweetened applesauce.

  2. 2

Mix the ingredients well until a smooth and manageable dough forms.

  3. 3

Divide the dough and shape into 16 small balls using your hands.

  4. 4

Melt the chocolate in the microwave or using a double boiler.

  5. 5

Dip each ball into the melted chocolate until thoroughly coated.

  6. 6

Place the balls on a plate or tray and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.

Notes

If the dough is too sticky to roll, you can add a bit more powdered peanut butter. It is an ideal snack to satisfy sweet cravings while maintaining a low-calorie profile.
