Ingredients
- 4 Chicken thighs (boneless)
- 20 g Garlic (minced)
- 120 g Onion (chopped)
- 80 ml White wine
- 40 g Dijon mustard
- 30 g Honey
- 200 ml Chicken broth
- 200 ml Cooking cream
- 4 g Sweet paprika
- 3 g Garlic powder
- 3 g Onion powder
- 1 g Black pepper
- Olive oil (a drizzle for the marinade and more for frying)
- Salt (to taste)
Steps
- 1
In a bowl, mix the sweet paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and a drizzle of olive oil to create the marinade.
- 2
Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and mix well until they are completely coated in the marinade.
- 3
Let the chicken rest in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours to absorb the flavors.
- 4
In a skillet with olive oil, brown the chicken on all sides until it is well seared.
- 5
Remove the meat from the skillet and set aside.
- 6
In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic and onion with a pinch of salt until tender.
- 7
Add the white wine and allow the alcohol to evaporate while deglazing the bottom of the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the chicken.
- 8
Stir in the Dijon mustard, honey, and chicken broth. Mix well to combine the ingredients.
- 9
When the mixture starts to boil, add the cooking cream and mix gently.
- 10
Return the reserved chicken to the skillet and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
- 11
Uncover the skillet and serve the chicken very hot.
Notes
