Ingredients
- 1 silken tofu (tube or block (approx. 350g))
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (Jin-ganjang (regular soy sauce))
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp gochugaru (Korean red chili flakes)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- green onion (finely chopped, as much as desired)
- Cheongyang chili pepper (finely chopped, to taste for spice)

Steps
- 1
Prepare the silken tofu by removing it from the packaging and slicing it into bite-sized rounds or pieces. Place the tofu in a microwave-safe bowl or deep plate.

In a small mixing bowl, combine 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tbsp of gochugaru (red chili flakes), and 1 tbsp of sesame oil.
- 3
Finely chop the green onions and Cheongyang chili pepper. Add them to the sauce mixture along with a generous amount of sesame seeds. Stir well to combine.
- 4
Pour the prepared seasoning sauce evenly over the sliced tofu.
- 5
Place the dish in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes until the tofu is heated through and the sauce has slightly permeated the tofu.
- 6
Carefully remove from the microwave and serve immediately as a side dish or over rice.
