Ingredients

  • 4 ribeye or sirloin steaks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 garlic (minced)
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)

Steps

  1. 1

Season the steaks with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.

  3. 3

Sear the steaks for 3–5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking.

  4. 4

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate.

  5. 5

In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.

  6. 6

Add the beef broth and Dijon mustard to the skillet, stirring well to combine.

  7. 7

Pour in the heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes.

  8. 8

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the sauce is smooth.

  9. 9

Return the steaks to the pan and spoon the creamy garlic sauce over them.

  10. 10

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Letting the steaks rest is crucial for keeping them juicy. For a thicker sauce, simmer the cream for an extra minute before adding the cheese.
