Ingredients

  • 1 king crab (cleaned, shell preserved, roe removed and set aside)
  • 2 eggs (beaten)
  • 10 g heavy cream
  • salt (a pinch)
  • white pepper (a pinch)
  • 1 g parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Steps

  1. 1

Open the king crab shell and clean it thoroughly. Carefully remove the crab roe and set it aside in a small bowl. Process the roe quickly to ensure it stays fresh.

  2. 2

In a separate mixing bowl, combine the reserved crab roe, two beaten eggs, 10g of heavy cream, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of white pepper.

  3. 3

Mix the ingredients together gently until well combined, then carefully pour the mixture back into the cleaned king crab shell.

  4. 4

Prepare a steamer with boiling water. Place the filled crab shell into the steamer and steam for 8–10 minutes until the egg mixture is softly set and silky smooth.

  5. 5

Carefully remove from the steamer and garnish with 1g of chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

King crab is rich in high-quality protein, zinc, and Omega-3 fatty acids. This dish is nutrient-dense yet light and refined. Ensure the crab is very fresh for the best flavor.
