Ingredients
- 100 g Low-fat ricotta (Light or low-fat)
- 60 g Shredded light cheese
- 1 Egg
- 40 g Grated Parmesan or hard cheese
- 50 g Cassava starch (Also known as tapioca starch)
- Salt (To taste)
- Ground black pepper (To taste)
Steps
- 1
Preheat the oven to the minimum temperature indicated by the author, or prepare the air fryer according to the appliance's instructions.
- 2
Place the low-fat ricotta, shredded light cheese, egg, grated Parmesan or hard cheese, and cassava starch in a bowl.
- 3
Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix with a spatula or clean hands until a smooth, manageable dough forms.
- 4
Divide the dough and shape it into small balls or chipá pieces. Arrange them spaced apart on a baking sheet, or in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
- 5
Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the chipás are firm and lightly golden. Alternatively, cook them in the air fryer until golden on the outside and cooked through in the center; the cooking time may vary depending on the appliance.
- 6
Let them rest for a few minutes and serve warm.
Notes
The post indicates baking for 15-20 minutes at the lowest setting or using an air fryer, but it does not specify the temperature or exact air fryer cooking time. The quantity yields approximately 2 servings, depending on the size of the pieces.
