Ingredients
- 250 g ground meat (200-300 grams of ground meat (ground beef or mixed))
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 250 g mushrooms (sliced)
- 200 g green beans (green beans)
- 2 tbsp peanut butter (peanut butter)
- 2 tbsp ketjap manis (sweet soy sauce)
- 1 beef bouillon cube (beef bouillon cube)
- 200 ml coconut milk (coconut milk)
- 100 ml water
- 1 tbsp sambal (to taste (author used 1 tbsp))
Steps

Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a pan until fragrant.

Add the ground meat to the pan and cook until browned.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan with the meat and continue cooking until the mushrooms are tender.

Meanwhile, boil the green beans in a separate pot of water until just tender, then drain.

Once the meat and mushrooms are cooked, add the coconut milk, water, peanut butter, ketjap manis, sambal, and the bouillon cube to the pan.

Let the mixture simmer and cook down until it forms a beautiful, thickened sauce.

Stir the cooked green beans into the sauce and meat mixture.

Serve the satay skillet immediately with rice or fried potatoes.
