Ingredients
- 250 g sushi rice (Cook according to the package instructions and cool.)
- 200 g smoked salmon
- cucumber (1/2 or 1 piece; slice thinly into strips or slices.)
- 1 avocado (Slice.)
- 3 nori sheets
- 3 łyżki plain cream cheese
- sriracha mayonnaise (To taste; for drizzling over the top.)
- scallion (To taste; finely chop.)
- fried onions (To taste.)
- white sesame seeds (To taste; for sprinkling.)
- black sesame seeds (To taste; for sprinkling.)
- soy sauce (For serving.)
Steps
- 1
Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions, then leave it to cool.
- 2
Line a baking dish with plastic wrap.
- 3
Arrange a layer of smoked salmon on the bottom of the dish.
- 4
Spread a layer of rice over the salmon, then add a nori sheet and spread it with cream cheese.
- 5
Arrange the thinly sliced cucumber—cut into strips or slices—and place the avocado slices on top.
- 6
Add another nori sheet, a layer of rice, and finish with the last nori sheet.
- 7
Cover the dish with a tray or cutting board and turn everything over to unmold the sushi cake onto the tray or board.
- 8
Cut the cake into even pieces with a sharp knife. If necessary, lightly moisten the blade to make slicing easier and more even.
- 9
Drizzle the top with sriracha mayonnaise and sprinkle with scallion, fried onions, and white and black sesame seeds.
- 10
Serve with soy sauce.
