Ingredients
- 1 lb Pizza dough (Store-bought or homemade)
- 4 tbsp Unsalted butter (Melted)
- 3 Garlic (Minced)
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley (Finely chopped)
- 1.5 cup Mozzarella cheese (Shredded)
- 0.25 cup Parmesan cheese (Grated)
- Salt (To taste)
Steps
- 1
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- 2
On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, approximately 1/4 inch thick.
- 3
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Whisk until well blended.
- 4
Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the surface of the rolled-out dough.
- 5
Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated parmesan cheese evenly over the buttered dough.
- 6
Using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife, cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide. You can leave them as long strips or cut them in half for shorter breadsticks.
- 7
Transfer the strips to the prepared baking sheet, leaving a small space between each one.
- 8
Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the breadsticks are golden brown.
- 9
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a pinch of dried oregano or red pepper flakes to the butter mixture. If using frozen dough, ensure it is fully thawed and at room temperature before rolling.
