Ingredients

  • 1 lb Shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 1 tsp Beef bouillon (for seasoning shrimp)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Dried basil (basil herbs)
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • Paprika powder (2-3 pinches)
  • 2 tsp Avocado oil (for marinating shrimp)
  • 12 oz Pasta (fettuccine or similar)
  • 1 tbsp Avocado oil (for cooking)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic paste
  • 2 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tsp Beef bouillon (for the sauce)
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 0.333 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup Mozzarella cheese

Steps

  1. 1

In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with 1 teaspoon beef bouillon, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon basil herbs, 1 teaspoon Italian herbs, 2-3 pinches of paprika powder, and 2 teaspoons of avocado oil. Toss well to ensure the shrimp are evenly coated.

  2. 2

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

In the same skillet, add the garlic paste and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. 5

Pour in 2 cups of heavy cream. Stir in 2 teaspoons of beef bouillon and 1 teaspoon of onion powder.

  6. 6

Bring the cream mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese and 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese. Continue to stir until the cheeses are melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.

  7. 7

Add the cooked pasta and the cooked shrimp back into the skillet. Toss everything together until the pasta is thoroughly coated in the sauce.

  8. 8

Serve immediately, garnished with extra herbs if desired.

Notes

The author uses beef bouillon for seasoning both the shrimp and the sauce, which provides a deep savory flavor. Ensure you do not overcook the shrimp in the first step as they will be reheated in the sauce later.
